Some of my latest work

Before the Christmas holidays I created my first short film since I've been at uni, we were told to create a film with the theme of 'time passing'. I went for the social realist genre (as I love gritty British social realist films like 'This is England' 'London to Brighton' and 'Dead man's shoes'.. to name a few.)
This was my first film project I'd worked on where I had to write a proper script, create storyboards, shot lists, hire real actors and film in locations that weren't just my house! I had A LOT of drama along the way, with cameras not being booked for the right days, actors pulling out at the last minute and last minute editing disasters! But I think it was all worth it in the end.

This is a little project I worked on lately, we we're told to make a short documentary about ourselves. So I decided to show my whole life so far in the form of a stop motion animation showing photos and keep sakes. Also, a variety of music is used to reflect the mood and show how I've changed through the years. Although it was a real pain to take all the photos! (literally took me a whole day) I'm really pleased with the outcome.

The last couple of days have been lovely.
It sounds very cliche, but there's nothing better than spending time with your best friend. Even if it just involves a trip to Pershore, then a lovely summery walk through fields!

My nan was going to throw all these away, but I soon stopped her and took them for myself.
They may not be worth a lot, but I love the cover art and the fact that some have been played so much that the booklet has fallen appart.
