First signs of summer

Florence and the Machine.

She walks on stage, in her 10inch heels.
Head held high, arms out stretched.
The shouting, screaming, cheering, echoes all around.
But still she stands still,
Waiting for that first note to hit our ears.

And when it does,
She comes alive.

And with the power of her voice,
We come alive too.
